it made me very pleased that the first open source GIMP course at the training course portfolio was able to establish the long term. This is perhaps a first delicate reference to the actual perception of the potential of open source in the private and commercial applications.
It was fun to me, contact with Solaris 10, finally re-UNIX. Although some commands are simply different from other Unix-like system.
As an outlook for the coming year I ask the question whether GIS training is ripe for private use? Until then, I
wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in an exciting 2010.
